We have an integrated governance strategy and an annual work plan which supports our agreed objectives and the ongoing development of our approach to quality, clinical governance and risk management.



Our integrated governance strategy and quality plan ensure that:

  • Services are effective; we have a comprehensive audit framework, clinical and non-clinical policies in place to support all functions of our business including expert advice on policies and horizon scanning.
  • Services are caring & responsive; Our clinical service objective is to strive for professional but person-centered care. We put patients first and we are empathetic in the delivery of their care. We also closely monitor patient satisfaction and ensure that where there are any shortcomings, these are put right
  • Services are Safe; We have a Clinical Governance Committee with representatives from all our key clinicians and managers. The Committee monitors and reviews overall performance in relation to the agreed key performance indicators oversees the management of risks and improvements initiatives. Our staffing and skill mix is constantly reviewed to ensure that we not only have appropriate cover in place but that a senior clinical lead is on-site to manage and coordinate clinics and surgical lists.



  • Services are well-led; Our Governance processes are clinically driven by specialist clinical experts and all our services are Consultant led. Our compliance team works closely with our Head of Clinical Services and Clinical Leads to ensure that we have appropriately skilled staff.
