Our CEO and Founder Dr Conal Perrett is on the Board of the British Society for Skin Care in Immunocompromised Individuals, a sub specialist group of the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD). It was set up to support patients who are at a much higher risk of developing skin cancers because of their reduced immune status. Such patients include those who have undergone organ transplantation, those with blood cancers, HIV and those on drugs that suppress their immune system. On 18th May BSSCII held its first Update Day at Willan House, the headquarters of the BAD. with Dr Perrett giving a talk on ‘Surgical Pearls in Immunocompromised Individuals’.
