Mr Jai Seth is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at St George’s University Hospital.
He leads the Urodynamic, Female Urology and Neuro-Urology service at St George’s Hospital, supports the continence service at Epsom and St Helier Hospitals, and is part of a specialised team providing cancer survivorship at the Royal Marsden Hospital for men with post-prostatectomy urinary incontinence. He provides liaison support for the bladder management of patients at the Royal Hospital for Neurodisability in Putney.
Mr Seth has an active academic background, having received a number of awards including a prestigious research grant from The Urology Foundation, and has co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications or book chapters and widely presents scientific papers at an International scale.
He enjoys taking active role in teaching and is a Senior Lecturer at St George’s University London Medical School where he is the Surgery lead for the Early Years.
As Clinical Lead for Urology for 18WS, he oversees the delivery of insourced Urology services across several sites around the United Kingdom. This enables patients countrywide to sustain access to crucial investigations or treatment, at their local NHS Trusts, by experts in their field. There is a post-pandemic national recovery of Urology that is underway, for patients waiting with urgent or distressing conditions. The dedicated commitment and effort from the whole 18 Week Support team, working closely with individual trusts and clinical departments, allows us to play an important part in that recovery.
