Richard advises 18 Week Support in the areas of Governance and Risk. He chairs our Governance Committee that meets regularly to review our clinical and operational performance, and supports the tendering processes across 18 Week Support.
Richard has extensive operational, managerial and commissioning experience at all levels in the NHS and private healthcare sector. This includes more than 30 years in the NHS, with 14 years at board level including chief executive, and other NHS director posts. He is also a qualified further education teacher and has headed up a part-time foundation degree programme in Health Services Management at Hull College for local NHS staff.
